Long time no post... why? cos i've been ill yes as with everyone it seems theres a nasty flu bug going round.

Thursday went out with a had a nice chat and stuff then I gace her a lift back to canada water on the way back i was around Bermonsey i was staring out of the window and i saw a guy staring back... i was like thinking whys that guy looking at me... then it clicked ... it was minh!!!! so nice to see him... thought it was some robber eyeing up my car lol.

I'm getting sick of traveling to places for work.... was meant to have a meeting at a Hospital in Chelsea tomorrow but made excuses so i didn't need to go... its just to cold to travel... couldn't get myself out of fridays meeting with the Director of IT :(

I visited the Helpdesk at the Hospital today as it was part of my orientation... I had to see how it works and what the processes were..... It brought back so many memories...

Today i had the noob IT engineer installing some software on my machine... i was really getting annoyed took him 2 hours to install something simples and he was following instructions... I felt like grabbing the mouse and doing it myself... he's made a cock out of the install....

Well it seems its becoming a yearly habit... It wasn't really planned just asked at the last moment... I was getting readying to come and just want Top gear or something.

Anyway we went to Pizza Express in Covent Garden.... it was really busy took 30 min just to order food....

I did the most stupid thing... i took my medicine on an empty stomach then i kept drinking wine... i kepts knocking my glass over and dropping my fork :(

that reminds me... tuesday i had one of those moments... before i left home i took some medicine when i got to work i took the same medicine again.... i was like shit i'm gonna overdose... my first reactions was to try and throw it up... but that didn't really work so i called NHS direct... (yes it is ironic that i work in a hospital).. they said its ok... you will live... so all happy..

Anyway thank you anna for keeping me company... i had a good time.









Had a meeting with the project manager alone today... and guess what he asked me... "what is a person like you working for the NHS" to be honest i didn't even know how to answer that... so i just said career move but i don't know why i am working for the NHS.... perhaps i hope my work will help people get better?

Playstation 3 pre-orders were made avaiable at game today still deciding if i should get one or now... not sure yet... seems like alot of money.

Work went a little slow for me this week..... cos the system is not rolled out and only 2 sites are using it for testing... i've been sitting down trying to look busy. Highlight of my week was getting my NHS Signle Sign-on Card.

I've realised why I was hired for the jobs... orignally it was for managed the CAB system but they decided to get me sorting this new system out. I think the change was cos the new system integrates with the System I was supporting before...

The office i'm in is too quiet! In the office there is only 1 other person besides me... He's a cool dude... He's a Data Quality Analyst from Reading and Lives near me so we have a one thing in common. There are 2 other desk which are Hot Desk but they are hardly ever used...

I hardly take a full hour lunch break now cos i have no one to talk to so I normally just walk about in paddington station...

Thursday went London HK with haven't ate a dinner here since Jessi had her Birthday dinner there 2 years ago... the food was sooo yummy and cooked perfectly... It's Top Quality Chinese Food!


Weekend Stayed over in Reading. Was meant to be Bristol but that's like far so Reading it was!

Went Shopping at the Oracle. Wasn't really impressed with the car parking at all.... one in the Carpark it took us 10 min to find a space....

In the evening went to
Loch Fyne Now i have to say... my fav Seafood place was Randall and Aubin in Soho London and Fish Works. But Lochfyne has the freshest and good quality Seafood you can get. The food was amazing...

Sunday night saw myself and co go to see Thai Hip hop sensation Joey Boy and Buddha bless at CC club in london.

It was really good both Joey Boy and Buddha bless gave a wicked performance!

First day working for the NHS... so what is it like? well the stereotype that it is underfunded is not entirely true.

I have a brand new desk, new chair, and a new Dell 3Ghz w/s so that's a good start so far.

I've been given my first project already and itis the implementation of a system for the westminster and kensingotn areas. My first project meeting is on Wednesday so i'm a bit nervous..

The position is totally different from my last job... work seems much more calmer... I'm used to a busy and pressured atmosphere.

Bad point about this job is i still have to deal with the BT service desk!!!!!! something i was looking forward to not doing anymore.

It seems everyone is much older than me and I only share an office with one other person so i doubt i will even make friends here :( so loney....

4th Feb 2007. Another year goes by...

I miss people who can play the piano... i used to listen to them play all the time...

I feel so ill... Last night i went for my farewell drinks in Battersea.

I was surprised with the turn out... even people who didn't normally go for drinks came and some just made the effort just to pop in and wish me well which made me really happy.

It was a suprise that the Customer Service Director put a small tab behind the bar for all of us... (nicely managed by Adrian).

By the end of the night i was totally wasted... it all went down hill once i had that shot .... in the end i was totally smashed and was throwing up outside constantly... i have never been like that ever...

You know working at this company has changed alot in what i believe in.

2 years and 3 months has felt like a lifetime...

I have never met a great bunch of people ever... I spent more time with them than my family so i got to know everyone quite well...

It has been a great pleasure working with all of you.

Thank you to everyone who came... it was a nice way to end my career at the company.

Just got back from PC world... i treated myself to a Slingbox. Slingbox basically a TV server in your home and you can remotely connect to and watch TV.

So for example i can be in Paris and be watching British TV by connecting to my slingbox via the internet

All this is called placeshifting.... so now i can watch TV on my mobile phone... how cools that!

An emotional day for me...

Today i left the company for good... What i will miss the most is the people there... i have to admit it has been really fun working with everyone...

Reason why i left is cos i thought i couldn't do a good job anymore... i do feel sorry for my team that i'm leaving behind.

i'm gonna miss the pressured environment and the people.
