Just wanted to say thank you for the all the presents on my birthday.....

This week spent a few days in Barcelona .... very nice and relaxing... Video blog below....

Friday night went out for a random dinner in central quite good seeing everyone.... not done that in a while so was good fun... they was making fun of me getting tipsy on one drink (which i wasn't).

Sat... Took a friend to shop in kingston... I showed her the wonderful world of Primark shopping... which she seemed to enjoy... in the process of the excitment of going there she nearly got knocked over by a bus.

Anyway later on in the evening... I had Dinner at Frere Jacques.... a very hard place to get a table on a sat evening... for some reason managed to get a table this time... Anyway was looking at the menu to see what i wanted to eat... next thing you know my menu was melting and in smoke... i had put the menu over a candle... lol how stupid of me. the meal was quite nice, top class... if you are visiting kingston this place is a must.

As my friend got up from the table she nearly took the table cloth with her... all this was so funny... i have never laughed so much for ages lol...

Sunday was Son B-day.... went to Gauchos which is some posh Argentinia steak place... Steak was so exspensive but so soft and tasty.... i've steak was so soft you didn't even need a steak knife... it was so good!

the weekend has been really active for me. Friday evening went drinking with workmates.... felt really tipsy in the end..... quite nice to social drink not done it for a while.....







Saturday went rocking climbing.... not done it for a while so did a little refresher on how to climb again.... was really good i'm def gonna start rock climbing on a regular basis....

later in the evening went to the comedy store..... i havent been to the comedy store since the smoking ban.... before i really liked the venue but only draw back was everyone smoking.... but now it's really nice cos it's all fresh air.



Sunday went with Family to Costco in Watford... quite good value for money... afterwards i took them to eat at the Galleria down in Herts.

In the evening i was gonna go down to kingston to have a drink with Jess and her friends but i was really tired so bailed out at the last min.... it was a good idea i did that cos i had an interview on monday....

Monday:
Had my weekly meeting in Baker Street. My Director had a private chat with me said he didn't wanna lose me.... I told him i wasn't happy here.... now i'm so confuse if i should stay on the project.... quite confused with what to do.....

In the afternoon I had the interview for the server job.... i didn't go very well.... i found it really hard to anwser questions like what is layer 2 and 3 in networking.... thats the stuff u learn in uni.... anyway... its expirence.... i still wanna move jobs... but not sure what my next move is.....


During the week meet up for dinner with Zip... went to eat jap.... not seen her since last year... we are both different people now... it was nice catching up...



Fri... Got turned down for the job... so i guess its back to looking for a job.

You prob think a job where you get to travel and get to go to meeting all the times is actually cool and fun.... this is what i thought for a while but really it isnt for me.... I'm quite annoyed with my current role so much today i've asked to be reassigned to another role.

The only role going is quite hard and you have to deal with BeeTee (take off the ee and ee) .... I feel like i've gone back to sq one... one of the reasons why i left my previous job is cos i hated working with them ... and now I will have to work with them again.

My line manager took me to a cafe she told me she was really annoyed that i never came to speak to her about my problems... and was very understanding... I also told her i had applied for a post within the department... that really shocked her....

I feel my relations with my manager is very sesitive at the moment....

Anyway besides like that i feel shit......


Other day I had dinner in Belgo's ... had 1kg of mussell to myself... this place does the best mussels!!

Alot of people have mention how do i manage to take pictures in meetings etc.... answer to that is i use my pda to take pics, it looks like i'm checking my email.

Anyway... Quite busy week again this week... so i was really glad when the weekend came along!

Anyway Friday evening just had a quiet meal at Pizza Express with Jess... had a brief walk around Kingston then it was home to bed.

Sat met up with one of my old mates .... went to Eailing to eat Sushi... nice as always... before that I brought myself a new laptop... and before you lecture yes i have no money... but i saw a bargin so i had to take it....

Apparently I look geeky with my glasses.... so do i look better without my specs? feedback pls guys!

This week i've been really busy with meetings, presentations, and go-lives... I almost wanna fall asleep as they are mega boring.

I felt left out in these meetings as everyone in the meeting was career for life management people. I have no passion for Healthcare IT like these people do.

All this week C*"&rn&r were giving presentations on the progress of the new system... I was asked to go to a few... it was in a lecture hall. I felt like i was at uni again except i was not being paid to sleep so i had to keep myself awake. One presentation was mega boring... but i was so wide awake cos of the cute french girl presenting she was so fit... I bunked the rest of the seminar deciding instead to stay in the office as i was so bored.

I was told this week of the new system i'd be working on... let hope it doesn't take another 3 years to finally deliver...

I finally got my interview date for the Server Engineer position. It's gonna be in 1 weeks time and I've heard it is going to be mega competitive. So gonna have to read up on my tech stuff and refresh my mind.


The tube were on strike this week.... chaos for anyone who takes the tube. I survived it by getting a lift in the morning from my dad and in the evening i had to take a taxi home as the buses were to packed for my liking... I've heard they are gonna strike again next week... great!

what a week.... really tired now...

Thursday I went to Gemma's and Alan's bday at Thai sq which was privately rented.

The party was like a facebook party... some peeps i knew and some i've seen on facebook... It was quite nice seeing old faces again.






















Friday the next morning... I had my meeting with my director... I thought it was productive as he is putting me on Prince2 etc... but I still think i should leave. Doubt money will be going up soon... and at the moment it pisses me off that i know i can earn more money elsewhere. Money is important for me at the moment because I feel that i wanna start traveling more while i'm young...

Fri evening was meant to go to Angel's party... but i was sooo tired i just didn't have the energy. It would have so nice to go cos alot of my childhood friend were gonna be there... oh well. next time.

Sat. went to the Skool night in the city. place was quite small and hard to move and the dance floor was tiny... saying that not many people were dancing... still it was good to catch up with old friends... left quite early... just to tired :(
