You may have heard of the Santika Night Club burnt down killing 60 or so lives. The Emergency Services did a very good job rescuing the clubbers. With only 1 Exit that clubbers knew about and 1000 people inside im surprised it wasnt worse.

Thailand doesnt have the best health and saftey record from what i hear but I guess this could have happened anywhere. Most people when they go clubbing never take a moment to see there nearest fire exit so what happens is that everyone will just try to leave the same way they entered.

Thailand I thought has always been a spooky place to live. When the tsunami occured a few years back locals heard voices (of people crying for help) on the beaches days after.

It is believed that the Spirit will return 3 and 7 days after the dealth. So many people went to take pictures of the Santika Club to see if they can see anything. One person claim to have captured Ghost in his picture.

see link . http://www.ajarnforum.net/vb/thailand-news-clippings/37191-santika-ghosts.html

Im not that convinced but if you have ever lived in thailand it is damn spooky.

Happy new year everyone!

Hope everyone had a wicked break and stuff... ive been off over christmas so it gives me time to blog and do other stuff. Been so busy that i really dont have time to write anything ... so now that i do, i will fill in what i have been doing.

Before Christmas. Did the last minute shopping as always and i have decided Westfield is a really rubbish shopping centre.

90% are Clothing stores
5% are cosmetics and health store
1% Mobile Phone stores
and the rest are like food, electronics etc.

So if you are not after clothing of smelly soap and makeup you cant really buy much.

In my opinion Brent Cross or High street Kensington has better choice of items.

Besides being a hermit for the pass months a few people have managed to drag me out to dinner which is amazing as im so lazy to go out.

Went to have dinner at Med Kitchen with Jess. It's a really good place to go. If you are bored with mid range places like Zizzi etc give Med Kitchen a try.

I'm also going through Netbooks like no tomorrow... I purchased the MSI Wind in November and it has been good to me but when Jessi go her Samsung NC10 i had to get one as well. The build quality is what you would expect from samsung and the battery on this laptop is amazing giving 6 hours of battery time.

I also use the Lenovo S10e at work and i must admit it is a very good netbook as well. Build quality is top notch only thing that lets it down is the battery life. I still use my MSI wind as it is the only netbook which you can watch HD videos on.

A few other purchases i have made over Christmas.

a PS3- yes i have given into pressure and have purchased it. Paid £255 with Little big planet so not bad. I must admit i play it alot more than my xbox 360 and Playstation Home (like Second Life) is amazing.
